1) Platform Role (User-to-User)

• We do not own, buy, sell, transfer, store, or guarantee any number plate.
• We are not a broker, agent, dealer, escrow provider, or representative of any user.
• All negotiations, payments, and transfers are conducted directly between users and through the relevant UAE authorities (e.g., RTA or other competent entities).
• We do not verify ownership documents or guarantee that any plate is transferable.

2) Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity under UAE law.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account or posting listings.

3) User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for ensuring you legally own (or are authorized to list) any plate you post.
• You are responsible for verifying the identity and credibility of the other party.
• You are responsible for completing transfer procedures and any payment arrangements directly with the other user.
• You agree to comply with applicable UAE laws and authority requirements.

4) Listings & Content

• Listings must be truthful and not misleading.
• Users must not post illegal content or infringe third-party rights.
• We may remove listings/content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5) Prohibited Activities

• Fraud, deception, impersonation, or misleading behavior.
• Automated scraping, data mining, or bulk extraction of Platform data without permission.
• Attempting to bypass security or access controls.
• Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct.

6) Content License & Promotional Use

By uploading listings, images, or descriptions, you grant ePlate.ae a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use such content for operating and promoting the Platform.

• We may use your listing content in advertising, promotional materials, social media posts, videos, and images.
• This may help increase exposure for your plate or listing at no additional cost to you.
• You retain ownership of your content.

7) Paid Features (Fresh, Priority, Spotlight)

The Platform may offer optional paid promotional features for listings, including Fresh, Priority, and Spotlight.

• Automatic re-uploading or refreshing of a listing
• Highlighted listing appearance
• Higher placement in search results
• Homepage or featured exposure

• These are promotional visibility tools only and do not guarantee a sale, inquiry, or transaction.
• The exact placement, exposure, duration, and performance of paid features may vary.
• Feature descriptions shown at the time of purchase form part of the applicable offering.
• Unless otherwise stated by applicable law or a specific refund policy, paid feature purchases may be non-refundable once activated or used.

8) AI Estimate Tool Disclaimer

The Platform may provide an AI estimate tool where a user enters a plate number and receives an estimated value based on available data and algorithms.

• Estimates are for informational purposes only.
• They do not constitute financial, legal, or official valuation advice.
• Not all plate numbers have estimate data available.
• Users must verify pricing independently before making decisions.

9) No Warranty

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not make warranties regarding accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, ePlate.ae is not liable for user disputes, fraud or misrepresentation by users, financial losses, failed transactions, or indirect/consequential damages.

11) Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Platform and users.

12) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

13) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be subject to UAE jurisdiction.
